Patience (poem)

Patience
By Martin Calibjo

Wake up early in the morning.
Going to school is so exhausting.
Listening to my instructor that so boring.
Doing school task that so irritating.

Back into home that so tiring.
Doing household chores is demanding.
Trying to sleep early in the evening,
But my assignment is kept on waving.

Life is exhausted and complicated
But I have a dream, that I want to achieved
There’s a lot of reason I have to press on.
Burden is real but I have to hold on.

Hope in Christ is what I’m doing.
He renews my strength to keep on moving.
Life indeed is challenging,
Patience oh Lord is my praying.

Singing with my guitar (poem)

Singing with my guitar
By Martin Calibjo

In shiny day or rainy morning,
Praising my Lord is what I’m doing.
In his unfailing love, that I feel so dear.
In his faithfulness I want to declare.

Throughout the day, sunshine in my soul
Whatever lies ahead I know that you’re in control.
Making my heart a rings of melody
saving my soul makes a symphony.

Singing with my guitar,
 praising you is my desire.
Tuning its string to harmonize,
To thank by singing, cause you agonized.

I sing because you were slain
Exalting your name I want to attain
Singing to you is my humble offering,
adoring you by thanksgiving.

You are my king, the Lord of my life
Your glory is cried of my life.
May each string I strike, will glorify
Through  songs I sing with my guitar.

VIRTUE

DILIGENCE

Our aptitude will define by our attitude.  The achievement of person is not a matter of chance but by a choice that he made. Attitude is very essential in our life. What we do and how we behave is a sowing process, of what we are going to reap someday.
One of the glamorous attitudes that a person should possessed is diligence.
This attitude is a biblical principle that we should do. According to the book of proverbs 21:4 “the thought of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.”

Diligent is a person that has persevering determination to perform a task. This is being industrious.

Still a dream…
Each of us desire good thing to happen in our lives. Like finishing your study, to become top in the class, to become successful in business or in our career, and to achieve our goals, but this dream will still a dream if we don’t do something.
Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Bill gates, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, Michael Jordan they were famous not only because of what they achieved but they become popular cause  in spite of failures they persevere to achieved something.

Problem of laziness..
Have you heard the story of juan tamad? How about the story of “ Si langgam at ang  tipaklong? The consequence of laziness is lesson of the said stories.
This is the problem that most of us experience; laziness is one of the Filipino habits that should vanish. Doing assignment, study, making project? Lazy students say later!
God doesn’t want us to live in that kind of life. In proverbs 6: 6-9 the word of God encourage us to consider the life of an ant and be wise. Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler but the ant provideth her meat in summer and gathereth her food in the harvest. It is hard to admit that God wants us to learn from that small creature but that is true. We do our task sometimes because someone overseer us. We don’t have the initiative like ants and being ready at all time.
Proverbs 13:4 says that the soul of the sluggard desireth and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall made fat. Truly how important to be diligent.

 Contentment or mediocrity..
It is nice that you are happy to the situation that you have, like even living in a small house, have just enough food and enough clothing. Being thankful of what you have today. This is what you called contentment. Contentment is a godly attitude but being contented doesn’t mean you did not aim something better; like to upgrade once ability, to gain more knowledge and have vision to achieve something better. A person who is contented doesn’t mean aimlessness nor is a person visioning something better lack of contentment.  A person that lives aimless is not contentment it is living in mediocrity.
Living in mediocrity is a person who is stagnant. Like water brooks stops from flowing. Mediocrity is laziness. Attitude that should not dominated us because mediocrity will stop your potential and will hinder in things that you should be.
Do you want your life to achieve something? Let us not be lazy and live in mediocrity, being diligent is the answer key.

 The call..
Diligence is a virtue that we should pray for. Indeed, if we want to live abundantly let us not live in mediocrity, being diligent is necessary. It is a call, work hard in your study, be persevere in doing your activity, be patient to achieve something progressively.
Regret is a word that each of us will be experience once we will neglect this call. set your mind to your future, set your mind to your family and set your mind to what you should develop in yourselves. Be diligent in everything that you do.

Life is a privilege that God gives in us. We are not the owner of this life we are just a steward, so DON'T WASTE YOUR LIFE! BE DILIGENT.

POEM1

Mystery of Christ death
by Martin Calibjo

   Mystery, mystery, mystery
        Christ death is a mystery.
Asking for answer is my plea.
why Christ death, paid my penalty.

Redemption to people is God's desire,
he gave his son to suffer and die.
The sinful am I not worthy to acquire,
but his love and grace really I admire.

I ask myself in this mystery,
because of Christ agony at Calvary.
Night and day stricken in thinking, why?
but the best thing to do, thank Him that he die.

RELATIONSHIP MATTERS

What is that one thing that matters most to me?

A good relationship matters most to me.
Relationship is a connection that you link yourself to someone that cannot disconnect by a distance.
Relationship is a non-material reality but shown by physical and moral activity.

Indeed relationship is a valuable thing to be cherished, a treasure to be kept, and a godly desire to cling on.
Relationship is attainable that you don't have to die for but to live for.

Is a relationship matter to you?

Why relationship matters to me? Because:

First thing relationship builds good things.  A good relationship established a good communication because good connection creates savor in conversation. It builds friendship because a good relation connects us to a deeper connection to have intimacy. It builds family because relation is the foundation in building a family. Especially it builds unity because good relationships prevent fighting and indifference behavior.

Second thing, we are an interdependent being.
We can't live without the other and we can't live well without good relationship. We need someone to cling on and we need someone to accompany us, especially if we are in the tough situation or in trials of life.  Some people live in bitterness and isolated themselves, due to painful experiences and darkest circumstances, but isolating ourselves is not the answer.
We did not achieve something if someone is not in our side. I learn how to walk because someone was patiently guiding me and that is my parent. I learn how to write and counting big numbers because someone taught me and that is our teachers. We achieve something not because of ourselves although we have a big part of it, but we can’t deny the fact that we attained those things because someone mentored us, motivated us, and molded us and especially our God that sustained us.

Thirdly, it is important to me because, a good relationship matters to God.
God the father sent his only begotten son so that people will become a child of God by receiving his Son, Jesus Christ (John 1:12).That’s how important to God relationship is, he is willing to sacrifice his Son because of His love toward us (John 3:16).  Christ came into the world not to build a denomination but to build a relation. Christ died in order to bridge man to God. Sin separates us from God. Thank God for His love and grace we can be part in the family of God.

Lastly, it matters to me because; it is a command of God.
God commanded us to love our neighbor even our enemy (Matt. 5:44). It is easy to be kind to someone who will treat us nice and fair. But how about someone will treat us unfairly? Will destroy our reputation? And will degrade our dignity? Can we love them? In Ephesians 4:32 if someone makes a fault in us, the bible commanded us to forgive like the Lord Jesus Christ who forgives our sins. That’s how serious our God when it comes to relationship matter.

What can I say more? Good relationship can live you at ease, can lend you happiness and can get you out of distress. Relationship can't be compared to any wealth. Relation can connect you to different and unique experiences that you can't perceive.

Good relationship matters most to me because relationship indeed matters!
