VIRTUE

DILIGENCE

Our aptitude will define by our attitude.  The achievement of person is not a matter of chance but by a choice that he made. Attitude is very essential in our life. What we do and how we behave is a sowing process, of what we are going to reap someday.
One of the glamorous attitudes that a person should possessed is diligence.
This attitude is a biblical principle that we should do. According to the book of proverbs 21:4 “the thought of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.”

Diligent is a person that has persevering determination to perform a task. This is being industrious.

Still a dream…
Each of us desire good thing to happen in our lives. Like finishing your study, to become top in the class, to become successful in business or in our career, and to achieve our goals, but this dream will still a dream if we don’t do something.
Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Bill gates, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, Michael Jordan they were famous not only because of what they achieved but they become popular cause  in spite of failures they persevere to achieved something.

Problem of laziness..
Have you heard the story of juan tamad? How about the story of “ Si langgam at ang  tipaklong? The consequence of laziness is lesson of the said stories.
This is the problem that most of us experience; laziness is one of the Filipino habits that should vanish. Doing assignment, study, making project? Lazy students say later!
God doesn’t want us to live in that kind of life. In proverbs 6: 6-9 the word of God encourage us to consider the life of an ant and be wise. Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler but the ant provideth her meat in summer and gathereth her food in the harvest. It is hard to admit that God wants us to learn from that small creature but that is true. We do our task sometimes because someone overseer us. We don’t have the initiative like ants and being ready at all time.
Proverbs 13:4 says that the soul of the sluggard desireth and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall made fat. Truly how important to be diligent.

 Contentment or mediocrity..
It is nice that you are happy to the situation that you have, like even living in a small house, have just enough food and enough clothing. Being thankful of what you have today. This is what you called contentment. Contentment is a godly attitude but being contented doesn’t mean you did not aim something better; like to upgrade once ability, to gain more knowledge and have vision to achieve something better. A person who is contented doesn’t mean aimlessness nor is a person visioning something better lack of contentment.  A person that lives aimless is not contentment it is living in mediocrity.
Living in mediocrity is a person who is stagnant. Like water brooks stops from flowing. Mediocrity is laziness. Attitude that should not dominated us because mediocrity will stop your potential and will hinder in things that you should be.
Do you want your life to achieve something? Let us not be lazy and live in mediocrity, being diligent is the answer key.

 The call..
Diligence is a virtue that we should pray for. Indeed, if we want to live abundantly let us not live in mediocrity, being diligent is necessary. It is a call, work hard in your study, be persevere in doing your activity, be patient to achieve something progressively.
Regret is a word that each of us will be experience once we will neglect this call. set your mind to your future, set your mind to your family and set your mind to what you should develop in yourselves. Be diligent in everything that you do.

Life is a privilege that God gives in us. We are not the owner of this life we are just a steward, so DON'T WASTE YOUR LIFE! BE DILIGENT.
